The University of New Orleans Institute for Economic Development & Real Estate Research will host the 32nd annual Dr. Ivan Miestchovich Economic Outlook & Real Estate Forecast for New Orleans on Tuesday, April 4 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Sen. Ted Hickey Ballroom, located in the University Center of the University of New Orleans.

Michael Hecht, president and CEO of Greater New Orleans, Inc., is the featured speaker; he will address the New Orleans regional economy at noon. The morning will begin with the Real Estate Roundtable discussions.

The Commercial Roundtable moderated by Patrick Beard, Real Estate Manager with the Port of New Orleans and UNO adjunct faculty member, will begin at 9:10 a.m. Discussing the state of the commercial market will be Leon Audibert III, of Property One, Inc.; Louisiana State Representative Stephanie Hilferty with SRSA Commercial Real Estate and Andrea Huseman of Corporate Realty.

Following the commercial discussion, the Residential Roundtable that will be moderated by Dan Mills, CEO of the Homebuilders Association of Greater New Orleans. Marcus Campo of Nola Build Contracting Services, LLC; Larry Schedler of Larry G. Schedler & Associates, Inc. and Melissa Simeon with Fontenelle & Goodreau Insurance, LLC will discuss the state of residential market and the challenges currently surrounding it.

All attendees are encouraged to pre-register by Tuesday, March 28; registration may not be available at the door due to a limited number of seats. General admission is $50. Attendee check-in and networking begin at 8:30 a.m. Louisiana Real Estate Commission (State Certified Vendor, Vendor Number 9125) and Louisiana Appraisal Board continuing education hours (4) have been applied for.

UNO faculty, staff and students may attend for free, but must pre-register as well.
