Beau Perez, a former standout at Jesuit High School and now a player for the Southeastern Louisiana Lions, is set to participate in the NCAA Division I FCS Football Championship.
The team will start the tournament as the No. 16 seed, facing off against the Illinois State Redbirds, who also hold the 16th seed.
The opening game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 29, at 12 p.m.
The New Orleans Privateers women’s tennis team lost to North Dakota despite a late comeback attempt. The team will start conference play next against Northwestern State.
These former Nola area high school standouts will be active on Friday, March 13.
The Tulane swimming team is set to compete at this week’s CSCAA National Invitational Championships in Florida with eleven athletes participating. The event follows a strong showing at their recent conference championships.
