The City of New Orleans announced on April 6 that if the city’s livestreaming application is not working, residents can view Historic District Landmarks Commission (HDLC) hearings live through the City Council’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@NOLACityCouncil.

This update provides an alternative for residents, business owners, and interested parties to stay informed about HDLC proceedings even when technical issues affect the primary streaming platform.

The city maintains a range of resources for public information and services. NOLA 311 serves as the main source for local government information and non-emergency services, offering support via phone or online requests. The city also offers open data downloads, dashboards tracking initiatives, maps including property viewers, and various online tools.

Additional services highlighted by the city include language access resources and avenues for filing complaints regarding communication services. Information about city laws such as the Home Rule Charter, Code of Ordinances, Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, as well as details on city offices and commissions defined by both local charter and state law are also available through official channels.

Residents are encouraged to use these digital platforms to remain engaged with ongoing municipal processes.
