On Sunday, Feb. 23, former St. Marys Dominican High School standout Ella Bertucci’s current college team, the Belmont Bruins, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UAB Blazers.
The game took place at Mary Bowers Field. This was their third matchup against the Blazers this season.
The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Tennessee State Tigers.
