Tulane University announced on May 1 that five of its former football players have been invited to participate in NFL Rookie Minicamps following the conclusion of the 2026 NFL Draft.
The invitations highlight the growing presence of Tulane athletes in professional football and reflect the program’s recent successes. KC Eziomume has signed with the Chicago Bears, while Derrick Graham (Tennessee Titans), Kameron Hamilton (New Orleans Saints), Johnny Pascuzzi (Kansas City Chiefs), and Jake Retzlaff have all received camp invitations.
Eziomume played one season at Tulane as a defensive back, appearing in seven games and finishing his collegiate career with stints at Albany and Alabama A&M, totaling 40 games, 80 tackles, and 17 pass breakups. Graham started at left tackle for two seasons at Tulane after transferring from Troy, playing in a total of 64 collegiate games. In his final season, he helped lead an offense ranked among the top ten nationally for sacks allowed per game and tackles for loss allowed per game.
Hamilton appeared in 54 games over four years on Tulane’s defensive line, recording notable statistics including three forced fumbles and twelve sacks. Pascuzzi contributed as a tight end during all fourteen games last season after transferring from Iowa. Retzlaff transferred from BYU to play quarterback for Tulane in 2025; he led the team both in passing yards (3,168) and rushing yards (634), set a school record for quarterback rushing touchdowns with sixteen, and earned seven weekly awards from the American Conference.
Tulane finished its most recent season ranked No. 18 nationally by both major polls—the second time this has happened since 1998—and won its second American Conference Championship title in four years. The Green Wave also made their first-ever College Football Playoff appearance as Louisiana’s first team to qualify under the new twelve-team format.
