Five New Orleans Privateers beach volleyball student-athletes were named to the Southland All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference office on June 2.

Cassie Sieling, Ellie Sieling, Ashley Salazar, Brooke Dow, and Renata Dykstra earned recognition for their achievements both academically and athletically. Cassie and Ellie Sieling played together at flight one, winning 19 matches during the season and recording an 11-match winning streak at the top flight. In academics, Ellie maintained a 4.0 GPA in her first semester as an Environmental Sciences major, while Cassie posted a 3.75 GPA in Mathematics for the spring semester.

Ashley Salazar recorded 15 wins on the sand primarily with Dow at flight two. She completed her Finance degree in spring 2026 with a cumulative GPA of 3.52. Both Dow and Dykstra graduated in May after finishing their respective programs; Dow earned a Marketing degree with a 3.50 GPA for the academic year, while Dykstra completed her Biology degree with a minor in Environmental Sciences and finished with a 3.74 GPA.

On court three, Dykstra secured 12 wins throughout the season and was part of a duo that achieved a five-match winning streak after moving into that spot in the lineup.
