Rodrek Williams II, a former standout at De La Salle High School and current player for the Tulane Green Wave, will participate in the NCAA Division I FBS Football Championship.
The team will start the tournament as the No. 11 seed, facing off against the North Texas Mean Green.
The opening game is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m.
Tulane University’s Mecailin Marshall has been named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week for women’s basketball, marking her fourth time receiving this recognition during the season.
These ex-Nola area high school athletes will be competing in the week starting Monday, March 9.
Tulane University men’s basketball team will face the Memphis Tigers on Sunday, March 8, in a Senior Day game at Uptown.
