On Friday, Dec. 5, the Tulane Green Wave, featuring former St. Augustine High School standout Juelz Baptiste, secured a 34-21 victory over the North Texas Mean Green in the NCAA Division I FBS Football Championship.

The contest was held at Yulman Stadium at 7 p.m., marking the first tournament meeting between Tulane and North Texas.

Tulane’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 20, at 2:30 p.m. at Vaught–Hemingway Stadium.
