The Grambling State Tigers, featuring former St. Augustine Senior High School standout Shannon Martin, were defeated 15-5 by the Tulane Green Wave in their NCAA Division I baseball contest on Wednesday, March 25, at 6:30 p.m.
Greer Field at Turchin Stadium served as the venue for this season’s initial meeting between the two teams.
Martin contributed two hits in four at-bats and scored twice.
The Tigers are set to play their next game against the Texas Southern Tigers on Friday, March 27, at MacGregor Park-Neagle Field.
