Jah’rie Garner, a former standout at St. Augustine High School and current player for the Tulane Green Wave, will participate in the NCAA Division I FBS Football Championship.
Tulane starts the tournament as the No. 11 seed, facing off against the North Texas Mean Green.
The opening game is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m.
Tulane University’s Mecailin Marshall has been named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week for women’s basketball, marking her fourth time receiving this recognition during the season.
These ex-Nola area high school athletes will be competing in the week starting Monday, March 9.
Tulane University men’s basketball team will face the Memphis Tigers on Sunday, March 8, in a Senior Day game at Uptown.
