Jaron Pierre Jr., a former St. Augustine High School standout, took the court on Wednesday, Feb. 25, as the SMU Mustangs suffered a 73-69 defeat to the California Golden Bears.

The 6-foot-5 guard added 14 points, four rebounds and three assists over 34 minutes of play.

Looking ahead, Pierre Jr. and SMU visit the Stanford Cardinal on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m.
