Jon McCall, a former standout at Sophie B. Wright High School and current player for the Kentucky State Thorobreds, is set to participate in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

Kentucky State enters the tournament as the number three seed and will face the seeded Shorter Hawks in their opening game.

The initial game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m.
