Libby Brewer, a freshman diver for Tulane University, has been named the American Athletic Conference Freshman Diver of the Week for the fifth time this season. The conference announced the award on Tuesday.

Brewer’s recognition follows her performance at a non-scoring meet against LSU on February 7. She placed second in the platform event with a personal and collegiate best score of 218.25 points, which is also the second-highest score in Tulane history for that event. Brewer also finished third on the 3-meter springboard with 228.23 points.

This marks Brewer’s fifth weekly conference honor in her first year at Tulane. In total, Green Wave swimmers and divers have received 11 weekly awards from the American Athletic Conference during the 2025-26 season, and 21 over the past two seasons.

The list of Tulane’s conference weekly honorees this season includes Libby Brewer (Freshman Diver of the Week), Eliza Lennox (Freshman Swimmer of the Week), Andrea Zeebe (Swimmer of the Week), and Lise Coetzee (Swimmer of the Week).

At Saturday’s meet at LSU Natatorium, several Tulane divers achieved collegiate or season-best scores ahead of next week’s American Conference Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina. Kelsey Weddington secured second place in the 3-meter dive with a season-best 247.75 points and third in platform with a career-best 170.70 points. Maya Superfon posted a season-best in the 3-meter dive and set a career high on platform as well. Eva Shawver and Tannah Proudfoot also recorded personal or season bests during competition.

Tulane will participate in the American Conference Championships from February 18 to 21 as they look to close out their swimming and diving season.

Tickets for upcoming basketball and baseball games are available by phone, online at TulaneTix.com, or at the James W. Wilson Jr. Center ticket office.
