Maryland falls to Rutgers despite Solomon Washington’s 15-point effort

Solomon Washington, formerly of G.W. Carver High School, took the court on Sunday, March 1, as the Maryland Terrapins were edged 69-65 by the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

The senior forward, standing 6′7″, tallied 15 points, seven rebounds and four blocks over 28 minutes on the floor.

Maryland next faces the Wisconsin Badgers on the road Wednesday, March 4, at 7 p.m., with Washington expected to play.
