The National Tenpin Coaches Association announced on April 9 its 2025-26 All-America honorees, with Tulane University’s Mia Stolakis earning a spot on the third team. The announcement was made at the Final Four banquet in Cleveland, where Stolakis received her award in person.
This recognition marks a significant achievement for Tulane bowling. Stolakis is the first Green Wave bowler to be named to at least the third team, following nine previous honorable mention selections for the program. She is also Tulane’s first NTCA All-American since Kristen Derr received an honorable mention in 2024.
Stolakis, a senior from Worcester, Massachusetts, led her team with 482 strikes this season and participated in nearly all of Tulane’s frames. She averaged a score of 205.2 per game and ranked among national leaders in several statistical categories: she is ranked 24th nationally in player composite performance index and holds top-15 rankings in both individual first ball “9+” percentage and Baker format double percentage. As an anchor bowler, she ranks tenth nationally for tenth frame scoring average and eighth for tenth frame double percentage.
Her senior season included two all-tournament team honors and being named Most Valuable Player at the Colonial Lanes Classic—her second career MVP title—which makes her the only Tulane bowler with two such awards. She was also runner-up at SWIBC II and finished among the top five on five occasions this year. In January, Stolakis competed at Team USA trials.
Tulane’s bowling team will conclude its season by competing at the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships in Green Bay, Wisconsin from April 16 through April 18 as they aim for a national title.
