Dove Leach, a former Morris Jeff Community School standout now playing for the Millsaps Majors, saw her collegiate team defeated 81-73 by the Bethel Royals in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 6.
The game was held at Robertson Center at 7:45 p.m. and marked the Majors’ first tournament meeting with Bethel.
These ex-Nola area high school standouts will participate in competitions on Sunday, April 19.
Tulane men’s tennis ended its season after falling to Rice University at the American Conference Championships on April 17. Daniel Phillips earned Tulane’s only point during singles play while Rice secured both doubles victories.
Tulane University sailing will host the SEISA Fleet Race Conference Championships at Lake Pontchartrain this weekend. Eight teams are set to compete in both open and women’s divisions starting April 18. Live results will be available online.
