John Martin, a former standout at De La Salle High School and current player for the Valdosta State Blazers, is set to participate in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

Valdosta State enters the tournament as the top seed and will face the first-seeded Albany State Golden Rams in their opening game.

The initial game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22, at 1 p.m.
