The New Orleans Police Department asked for the public’s help on April 21 in identifying and locating a person of interest related to a recent business burglary.

Police said the incident took place around 12:05 a.m. on April 21 at a business located in the 500 block of Canal Street. Investigators believe that the individual, whose image was released by authorities, may have information important to their ongoing investigation into the burglary.

Officials emphasized that the person pictured is not wanted for committing this crime but is being sought because he may possess information relevant to the case. “Note the pictured individual is NOT wanted for this crime and is sought because of the information he is believed to possess,” police said.
