The New Orleans Police Department asked for the public’s help on April 14 in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for reckless driving. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on April 12 in the 1400 block of North Claiborne Avenue, where a suspect was seen operating a black 2022 Chevrolet Camaro convertible and performing dangerous maneuvers known as “doing donuts,” which put pedestrians at risk.

Police said the suspect sped away westbound on North Claiborne Avenue after endangering people nearby and continued to drive recklessly. Authorities released images of both the suspect and the vehicle involved in hopes that members of the community can assist with identification.

The police reminded residents that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
