New Orleans Police seek public help to locate burglary suspect

The New Orleans Police Department requested public assistance on May 1 in locating a suspect wanted for vehicle burglary.

Police identified the suspect as Dwayne Lester Holmes, Jr., a Black male born on July 27, 1993. Investigators said that around 2:30 a.m. on April 27, Holmes allegedly burglarized a parked vehicle in the 200 block of Poydras Street. Authorities stated that Holmes was identified through their investigation and that an arrest warrant has been issued for him.

The police reminded the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
