The New Orleans Privateers’ scheduled game against Nicholls was postponed on May 1 due to the threat of bad weather. The teams will now play a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 3 p.m., with the series finale moved to a 3 p.m. start time on Sunday.

This change comes as the Privateers are two games behind in the race for the final spot in their conference tournament. After facing Nicholls this weekend, they will return home to play Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

This is not the first time weather has affected this matchup. Last year, the opening game between the Privateers and Colonels was suspended after four innings and resumed the following day.

Fans are advised to stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend regarding further schedule changes or announcements.
