The New Orleans Privateers baseball program will hold its First Pitch Gala at Lakefront Arena on January 23, 2026. The event will include dinner, drinks, a silent auction, and a keynote speech from Buck Showalter, who has managed in Major League Baseball for 22 seasons and won four Manager of the Year awards.

VIP access to the gala begins at 6 p.m. at Spotlights in Lakefront Arena, with general admission opening at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are priced at $125, while VIP tickets cost $200. Sponsorship opportunities are available up to $10,000. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Privateers baseball program.

“We are extremely excited to host this event,” said Head Coach Andrew Gipson. “It’s going to be an exciting night! We are going to celebrate this 2026 UNO Baseball Team and invest in our future. This event will raise funds to help with NIL and other initiatives at Maestri Field. We are grateful to everyone who has supported this event and look forward to seeing everyone there!”

Attendees will have an opportunity to hear from Coach Gipson and meet members of the team before the start of the 2026 season.

Tickets for the gala can be purchased here.
