In the first match, Mona Salgado and Kylie Lyons made a comeback after losing their opening set 21-16 and trailing in the second. They rallied to win the second set 22-20 in extra rallies and carried that energy into a decisive third-set victory, finishing 15-9. Lindsey Neal and Jordan Madsen secured a straight sets win with scores of 21-13 and 21-15, while Lucianna Alexander and Renata Dykstra won their match with a dominant first set (21-9) followed by a strong finish (21-16). The Sieling twins delivered another commanding performance with scores of 21-9, 21-7. Salgado and Lyons maintained control throughout for a straight sets win (21-9, 21-10), while Neal and Madsen ended their first set on an eight-point run before clinching it in two sets (21-11, 21-16).
