The New Orleans Privateers beach volleyball team is set to host the Pontchartrain Beach Bash at the Privateer Beach Courts over the next two days. The event will feature matches against College of Charleston, Southeastern, and McNeese.

Of these contests, only the match against Southeastern on Friday afternoon will affect the conference standings for New Orleans.

Senior Day festivities are scheduled before the team’s final weekend match against McNeese, with ceremonies beginning at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.

The schedule includes:
– Friday 11 a.m.: New Orleans vs. Charleston
– Friday 3 p.m.: New Orleans vs. Southeastern
– Saturday 11 a.m.: New Orleans vs. McNeese
– Saturday 3 p.m.: New Orleans vs. McNeese

Last weekend, the Privateers competed in the Cowgirl Beach Bash and finished with a 3-1 record. They opened their conference play with a win over Stephen F. Austin and also recorded victories against Mary Hardin-Baylor and Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Ashley Salazar and Brooke Dow went undefeated in four matches at flight two during that tournament, dropping only one set and bringing their season record as a pair to 6-2.

Renata Dykstra and Jordan Madsen contributed two wins last weekend, including straight-set victories over Stephen F. Austin and Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Lucianna Alexander and Kylie Lyons picked up wins against Mary Hardin-Baylor and Texas A&M-Kingsville, while Cassie Sieling and Ellie Sieling won their first two matches of the weekend versus SFA and Mary Hardin-Baylor.
