In their most recent game, the Privateers were defeated 72-63 by East Texas A&M. Three players scored in double digits, with Shanihya Brown leading the way with 14 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists.

The Privateers have shown improvement at the free throw line recently, surpassing a 70 percent success rate in four of their last six games after doing so only twice in their first seven games this season. Against conference opponents, they rank third in free throw percentage at 76.5 percent.

Southeastern enters Thursday’s contest with a record of 2-10 overall and 1-4 in conference play after losing seven straight games since winning their opening conference matchup on November 22 against East Texas A&M. Aliyah Collins leads Southeastern and is third in the league with an average of 14.5 points per game; Lihi Azouri ranks seventh in the Southland for three-point shooting percentage at 39 percent.

Nicholls holds a record of 7-5 overall and 3-2 within the conference following a recent loss to Northwestern State by a score of 50-46. The Colonels are fourth among league teams for scoring offense and third for scoring defense; Emani Burks is tied for seventh place among Southland players with an average of 6.3 rebounds per game.
