New Orleans Recreation Development Commission to Host 11th Annual Easter Celebrations on Saturday, March 16

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission today announced it will host its 11th annual family-friendly Easter Celebrations on Saturday, March 16, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., at the following parks:  

  • Joe W. Brown Park, 5601 Read Blvd. (New Orleans East)  
  • Lafitte Greenway, 1971 St. Louis St. (Mid-City)  
  • Morris F.X. Jeff, Sr. Park, 2529 General Meyer Ave. (Westbank)  

Children of all ages are invited to attend and should bring their baskets for the egg hunt. Eggs will be filled with candy and prizes. Coveted golden eggs will be available at each location, containing special prizes and treats. Family-fun activities include face painters, spacewalks and field games, and refreshments will be provided.
