Lance Nisbet and Daniel Phillips were named to the 2026 American All-Conference Team, according to an announcement on Apr. 28 by the league.

The recognition highlights their performance during the season, with both athletes earning a spot on the all-conference doubles team. Additionally, Phillips was selected for all-conference singles honors.

Nisbet and Phillips are currently ranked No. 41 nationally as a doubles pair. They finished the season with a 9-6 record in doubles play, which included wins over then-No. 21 LSU, No. 11 Arizona State, and No. 63 Liberty. In singles competition, Phillips ended his season with a record of 16-11 at the No. 1 position for Tulane. He recorded victories against Rice’s Petro Kuzemenok when Kuzemenok was ranked No. 49 nationally and again in the American Conference Tournament when he was ranked No. 53.

This marks the first time since 2019 that Tulane has had multiple student-athletes receive all-conference honors in men’s tennis.

The conference also announced other postseason awards: Player of the Year went to Petro Kuzmenok from Rice; Freshmen of the Year were Moritz Muenster from Charlotte and Marcos Castro Fabra from Memphis; Coach of the Year was Vince Westbrook from Tulsa.
