The New Orleans Police Department announced on March 31 that it is seeking help from the public to locate Christine Wiltz, who has been reported as a critically missing person. The Special Victims Division took over the investigation after Wiltz was last seen in the early morning hours of March 27, between approximately 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.

According to police, Wiltz was last observed after picking up McArthur Mackey, who has been identified as a person of interest in this case. She was driving a 2009 Lincoln MKX SUV with visible damage to the rear passenger side at the time of her disappearance. The vehicle’s license plate information remains unknown.

Detectives say that Mackey also went missing around the same time as Wiltz and note that he has a documented violent history. Investigators believe that Wiltz may be at high risk for exploitation or serious physical harm.

Authorities urge anyone with information about the whereabouts of either Christine Wiltz or McArthur Mackey to contact Special Victims Detectives at 504-658-5267 or 504-658-5523. Those wishing to provide information anonymously can call Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
