NOPD seeks public help identifying suspect in Magazine Street vehicle burglary

The New Orleans Police Department announced on April 27 that it is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in a simple burglary of a vehicle that took place on April 17 in the 800 block of Magazine Street.

Authorities say the incident occurred at about 2:15 a.m., when surveillance footage captured an unknown individual entering a victim’s vehicle, removing property, and then fleeing the scene. The police have released images of the subject as part of their efforts to locate and identify the person responsible.

The department reminds residents that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Officials encourage anyone with information related to this investigation to contact NOPD Eighth District detectives at 504-658-6080.
