On Friday, May 16, former St. Marys Dominican High School standout Ella Bertucci’s current collegiate team the Belmont Bruins lost 0-5 against the Virginia Tech Hokies in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium at 2:35 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Virginia Tech Hokies in the tournament.

The Belmont Bruins’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 2:10 p.m. at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium.
