On Tuesday, April 22, former Lusher Charter School standout Jack Groh’s current college team, the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Piedmont Lions.
The game took place at Loudermilk Field. This was their third matchup against the Lions this season.
The Stormy Petrels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 11 a.m. at Stauffer Field against Rhodes Lynx.
Tulane University sailing finished seventh out of eighteen teams at the ICSA Women’s Fleet Race National Championship on May 18. The team posted strong results across both A and B divisions as they look ahead to upcoming national semifinals.
Tulane University’s sailing team will compete at this year’s ICSA Fleet Race National Championships in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Green Wave qualified automatically for both women’s and open events after winning their conference title.
