Police seek public’s help in identifying suspect in Fats Domino Avenue burglary

New Orleans Police are seeking help from the public to identify and locate a suspect involved in a business burglary. Investigators report that around 2:00 a.m. on February 26, 2026, a man broke into a business located in the 2000 block of Fats Domino Avenue and took property before leaving the scene.

Police describe the suspect as a White male with a grey beard and thin build. He reportedly has a tattoo on the top of his left hand. Authorities believe he may be homeless and is known to frequent the Bywater area.

“All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.”
