Police seek suspect in air conditioner thefts causing $80,000 damage

New Orleans police are seeking public help to find Clarence Falkins, who is wanted for felony theft. Falkins, a Black male born on July 24, 1971, is accused of entering properties in the 8500 block of the I-10 service road and the 7000 block of Lawrence Road several times between October 2025 and February 2026. Police say he removed air conditioner parts from multiple buildings, resulting in about $80,000 in damages.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Authorities remind the public that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
