The Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions, featuring former De La Salle High School standout Cera Blanchard, secured an 11-3 victory in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11.

Hosted at North Oak Park, this contest marked the Lady Lions’ first meeting of the season with Southern Miss.

Blanchard allowed two earned runs and notched two strikeouts in two innings pitched.

The Lady Lions are set to face the Houston Christian Huskies next, with the matchup scheduled for Friday, March 13, at 4 p.m. at North Oak Park.
