Graduates earn 220 degrees from Dillard University

About 28.6 percent of the 220 degrees and certificates handed out by Dillard University in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Orleans conferred 63 bachelor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general public health. Data shows the school gave out 38 bachelor's degrees in general public health, followed by 25 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 23 bachelor's degrees in general biology/biological sciences.

The university enrolled 1,309 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
