Cost of college went down for all students at Park Place Premier Barber School

Tuition and fees fell 3.2 percent for 2018-19 at Park Place Premier Barber School, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $18,185 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $600 less than the $18,785 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 38 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 6 students received grants or scholarships totaling $32,335 and 6 students took out student loans totaling more than $57,416.

Including all undergraduates (34), 17 students used grants or scholarships totaling $90,178, and 18 students took out $161,660 in federal student loans.
