The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Karen Carter Peterson, Karen Carter Peterson for Congress, refunded $300 to Nicole Route on May 14, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Karen Carter Peterson for Congress has refunded $72,950 total since Dec. 1, 2020.
