Census Bureau: More women than men in New Orleans in 2020

Of the 391,249 people living in New Orleans in 2020, 52.7 percent (205,997) were women and 47.3 percent (185,252) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Nola Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 13,605. In the 65 and over age range, there were 33,007 females and 24,860 males.
