The NOPD is investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred today (December 26, 2023) in the 1600 block of Newton Street.
In this incident, the pictured unknown black male armed with a firearm reportedly entered a business at about 10:08 a.m. and demanded cash from the employees, who complied and relinquished cash from the register. The suspect then took the cash and fled the scene on foot.
