The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating a subject wanted in connection with a simple burglary investigation.
On January 21, 2024 at about 4:32 a.m., an unknown subject entered the 1000 block of Poydras Street and stole cash from a safe.
The subject then fled the location and headed towards Canal Street on O’Keefe Avenue.
The subject is possibly a white male, 5’11” to 6’ in height with blonde hair.
Anyone with information as to the identity of the subject or their location, is asked to contact the Eighth District at (504) 658-6080 or Crimestoppers anonymously at (504) 822-1111.
