Congressman Troy A. Carter, who represents Louisiana’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on July 31, 2025, addressing topics ranging from condolences for a state official to national political commentary and media promotion.
In his first post of the day, Carter offered sympathy to Governor Jeff Landry following a family loss. “I offer my heartfelt condolences to Governor Jeff Landry and his family on the passing of his father. May you find strength in cherished memories and peace in God’s promise: ‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted…’ —Psalm 34:18. You are in my prayers. #Louisiana #LAleg” (posted July 31, 2025).
Later that afternoon, Carter commented on President Trump’s approval ratings during his second term, stating concerns about public dissatisfaction with several issues. “President Trump’s approval is sinking—lowest of his second term. The American people are speaking: they disapprove of his budget bill, his mishandling of immigration, and the lack of transparency on the Epstein files. Accountability matters. So does leadership.” (posted July 31, 2025).
In another message posted later that evening, Carter promoted multimedia content available across major streaming platforms. “Watch this trailer, past episodes, and future episodes on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube!
