He emphasized his dedication to the health and safety of residents in the LA02 industrial corridor, stating, “Industry is important, but protecting our communities and ensuring clean air, water, and a healthy environment must always come first.”

The following day, on January 24, 2025, Congressman Carter participated in a ceremonial event as Chairman of Washington Mardi Gras. He expressed pride in standing with King Rico Alvendia, Queen Kendall Williams, and the Royal Court to honor veterans by laying a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier.
