He stated, “The Musk/Trump Admin spends $800K a WEEK flying to Florida—while trying to gut Social Security for poor & working-class Americans. Abuse of power. Betrayal of trust. Later the same day, Carter addressed an environmental decision by the administration. He described the tariffs as detrimental, declaring, “The last thing Americans need is more economic uncertainty. This isn’t a targeted tariff, it’s a reckless “shoot-first, aim-later” approach that embarrasses the U.S. on the world stage while the American people foot the bill and suffer. Ridiculous.”
