Paul Boron will take over radio duties on Sunday, joined by color commentator Joey Brockhoff. Radio coverage starts 15 minutes before each game.
Tulane’s pitching rotation features graduate student Trey Cehajic starting Friday, junior transfer Beau Sampson on Saturday, and sophomore Jack Frankel taking the mound Sunday. Frankel, who transferred from Liberty, allowed just two hits and one run in his debut for Tulane.
Harvard begins its season with this series and plans to start right-hander Gio Colasante on Friday, lefty Luca Alagheband on Saturday, and freshman Vedant Sharma on Sunday. Tulane holds a strong historical record against Ivy League teams (16-5), having most recently swept Yale at home in 2024. The Green Wave have faced all eight Ivy League schools since first playing Cornell University in 1986.
Several Tulane players have started the season strongly. Kaikea Harrison has eight hits through four games (.421 average), while Jason Wachs leads with six RBIs and maintains a streak of reaching base safely in 30 consecutive games dating back to last season. Nolan Nawrocki has contributed five hits including three doubles early this year.
On the mound, J.D. Rodriguez and Beau Sampson share the team lead with nine strikeouts each. The pitching staff averages 12.4 strikeouts per game—second best in the American Conference—and registered double-digit strikeout totals in every game during their opening series against Loyola Marymount.

Last season saw Tulane finish with a record of 33-25 while earning five All-Conference selections—the most since tying that mark in both 2016 and again last year—and sending three players to Major League Baseball via the draft: Michael Lombardi (Kansas City Royals – second round), Tayler Montiel (Arizona Diamondbacks – twelfth round) and Connor Rasmussen (Kansas City Royals – fifteenth round).
After facing Harvard this weekend at home for their first time since opening away from New Orleans—a rare occurrence for only the eleventh time since 1979—Tulane will travel next week for midweek matchups against UNO (February 24) and South Alabama (February 25).
