The Tulane baseball team achieved a 6-2 victory over Nicholls on March 31 at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium, marking the Green Wave’s fourth consecutive midweek win. The game featured exclusively left-handed pitchers for Tulane, who now hold a 15-15 record for the season.

This result is significant as it reflects both consistent pitching performance and offensive contributions from multiple players. Tulane improved its all-time record against Nicholls to 70-28 and maintained a strong home record of 11-5 this year.

LuisPablo Navarro started for Tulane and earned the win after pitching three innings with five strikeouts and allowing just one hit. Julius Ejike-Charles, Tom Vincent, and Beau Sampson followed in relief, combining to limit Nicholls to two runs while striking out seven more batters between them. Offensively, Kaikea Harrison led the team with three hits, two runs scored, and an RBI. Trent Lilios contributed with a hit and three RBIs plus a walk. James Agabedis added two RBIs including his second home run of the season.

Nicholls’ Will Mabry was charged with the loss after surrendering four runs on four hits across just over three innings pitched. Jaxon Milam provided both of Nicholls’ runs in the fifth inning on a single that briefly narrowed Tulane’s lead.

Among other notable achievements from the game: Jason Wachs extended his on-base streak to 56 games; four of James Agabedis’s last seven hits have been home runs; Nate Johnson has now played in eight different lineup positions this season; Harrison notched his third three-hit game of the year; and Tulane pitchers reached double-digit strikeouts for the thirteenth time this campaign.

Looking ahead, Tulane will travel to face Wichita State from April 2–4 in Kansas.
