The Tulane diving team will conclude its 2025-26 regular season with a meet against LSU in Baton Rouge on Saturday, February 7. The competition is set to begin at 11:30 a.m. at the LSU Natatorium.
Tulane is expected to have its full squad compete, including Libby Brewer, Taylor Cekay, Tannah Proudfoot, Eva Shawver, Maya Superfon, and Kelsey Weddington. The meet consists of two sets of individual events: the first includes the 1-meter dive (six dives), 3-meter dive (six dives), and women’s platform dive (five dives). The second event is an exhibition with the same format.
Recent achievements for the program include conference weekly awards given on January 27. Senior Andrea Zeebe was named American Swimmer of the Week after winning three events in a dual meet against West Florida: “400 IM (season-best 4:18.70), the 50 free, and led off the victorious 200 medley relay.” Freshman Libby Brewer received her fourth American Freshman Diver of the Week honor for being Tulane’s top-scoring diver against West Florida, winning both boards with scores of “238.65 points on the 1m and 260.40 points on the 3m.”
These recognitions bring Tulane’s total to ten weekly awards this season and twenty over two seasons.
In their last competition on January 24 at West Florida, Tulane won ten out of thirteen events and defeated their host by a score of 152-90. Notable performances included Varvara Gkiouzepa Petropoulou winning both distance freestyle and butterfly races; Andrea Zeebe claiming victories in sprint freestyle and individual medley; Libby Brewer taking both diving events; Lise Coetzee securing first place in the 200 freestyle; and Eliza Lennox winning the 100 freestyle. Tulane also swept both relay events.
After this weekend’s meet at LSU, Tulane will travel to Greensboro, North Carolina for the American Championships from February 18 to February 21 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
