Tulane University announced on Mar. 27 that its sailing teams will compete in two separate regattas across the country during the weekend of March 28-29. The women’s team will participate in the Dellenbaugh Women’s Team Race in Providence, Rhode Island, while another group will travel to California for a Triad Scrimmage against Stanford.

The Dellenbaugh Women’s Team Race is set to take place on the Providence River and is hosted by Brown University. Tulane’s starting lineup for this event includes skipper Oakley Cunningham with crew Hope Breslin, skipper Ava Anderson with crew Ella May Corckran, and skipper Gabriela Vassel with crew Charlotte Casey. Alternates for the event are Cate Anderson, Caitlin Briggs, Caroline Caudron, and Lola Kohl.

Racing at the Dellenbaugh Women’s Team Race is scheduled to begin at approximately 10 a.m. Central Time on Saturday and at 9 a.m. Central Time on Sunday. The competition format consists of three rounds: an initial round robin among all twelve teams; a second round robin dividing teams into Gold and Silver groups based on standings; and a final round robin among the top four teams after Round Two.

Meanwhile, Tulane’s other sailors will face Stanford in Redwood City as part of their first Triad Scrimmage matchup before hosting Stanford again at home April 4-5.

Live results for these regattas can be accessed through official channels provided by Tulane Athletics.
