Tulane University sailing will participate in two separate regattas on March 14 and 15, sending teams to compete in Connecticut and South Carolina.

The competitions are part of the spring season for Tulane’s sailing program. The events provide opportunities for both coed and women’s teams to race against other collegiate programs.

A coed squad from Tulane will take part in the Southern New England Open Team Race hosted by Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut. Other schools competing at this event include Northeastern, Roger Williams, MIT, Tufts, Coast Guard, Yale, and Connecticut College. At the same time, a women’s team from Tulane will race at the Charleston Women’s Team Race hosted by College of Charleston in South Carolina. Teams at this regatta include Harvard, Old Dominion, Coast Guard, and College of Charleston.

Live results for both regattas are available online through links provided by Tulane Athletics. The university also encourages fans to follow updates on social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

The competitions mark another step in Tulane’s ongoing efforts to support its student-athletes both on the water and academically.
