Tulane University’s track and field team will return to competition this weekend after a week-long break. The team will be divided between two meets: the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville and the John Thomas Terrier Classic in Boston.

The PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational will take place at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center. This is Tulane’s second appearance at this venue in 2026, following their participation in Kentucky’s Rod McCravy Memorial Invitational earlier this year. Only field athletes from Tulane will compete in Louisville.

Meanwhile, track athletes from Tulane will travel to Boston for the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University’s Track and Tennis Center. Women’s events are scheduled for Friday, while men’s events will take place on Saturday.

Both competitions begin on Friday, January 30, and end on Saturday, January 31. The John Thomas Terrier Classic will be available for streaming on FloTrack. In Louisville, Tulane’s first event starts at 12:10 p.m. CT on Friday with Sofie Groeninger competing in the high jump as part of the pentathlon. Presley Wolfe is set to participate in the triple jump at 9:30 a.m. CT on Saturday. In Boston, Maria Alduan and Jasper Newton open Tulane’s schedule with the women’s 800 meters at 10:45 a.m. CT on Friday. On Saturday, Samuel Cohen, Roman Schrader, and Jalen St. Fort will run in the men’s 800 meters starting at 10:50 a.m. CT.

Tulane’s next competition is scheduled for the following weekend at the Badger Windy City Invitational hosted by Wisconsin in Chicago.
