Tulane women’s golf to compete in Charles Schwab Collegiate Invitational March 23-24

Tulane University announced on March 22 that its women’s golf team will participate in the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Texas Christian University. The event is scheduled for March 23 and 24 at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.

The tournament brings together a field of 13 teams, including Tulane, Southern Methodist University, Oregon, Auburn, Oklahoma State, Wake Forest, Stanford, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Texas, Arizona, Duke and host TCU. Tulane’s lineup features Francesca Pompa—who recently finished third at the Puerto Rico Iguana Invitational—alongside Cristina Albertazzi, Gabriella Gilrowski, Sopia Chen and Sophia Macias.

The invitational consists of three rounds totaling 54 holes. Play begins Monday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m., featuring two consecutive rounds. The final round is set for Tuesday morning at 8:15 a.m. Live scoring will be available during the tournament.

This competition offers Tulane golfers an opportunity to measure themselves against some of the top collegiate programs in the country as they continue their spring season.
